A Story of French Immigrants in Argentina

The story begins in the year 1888 in France, when a young man decides to start a new life in Argentina, in the company of his wife and his 2 year old son. A master carpenter and ebonist, he would in the following years found a furniture factory that in a short time became one of the finest addresses of its kind in Buenos Aires.

What follows is a 17 page typed document which was dictated in 1944 at the age of 84 by Don Gabriel Tarris encompassing his beginnings, personal anecdotes, political and social matters.
